Mark Schilli is the founder of JPC Training International, Inc., of New Baden, IL. The company was named after Schilli’s brother-in-law, Police Officer Jeremy “Jay” Preston Chambers, who died in the line of duty April 24, 2006. At the time of his tragic death, Chambers was employed as a Cahokia Police Officer in Illinois. Chambers died as a result of a head on car crash by a intoxicated driver. Chambers was the first police officer to make the ultimate sacrifice since the Cahokia Police Department’s inception in 1961.
JPC Training International, Inc. specializes in defense training tactics and emergency first aid procedures for police, security, corrections, military, fire and civilian personnel.
Mark has 24 years of law enforcement experience at the municipal, county and federal level. He holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, IL., and a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership from Greenville College in Greenville, IL. Mark has been an Adjunct Instructor for Southwestern Illinois College Police Academy in Belleville, IL., since 1993.
He is a certified instructor/trainer in several national training programs such as Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT) and Practical and Tactical Handcuffing (PATH). He is also certified as a Taser Instructor, a C.P.R./A.E.D Instructor and a Blood borne Pathogens Instructor.
Mark has trained hundreds of police, security, military, corrections and civilian personnel in self defense and safety.
Mark is a member of International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), International Police Association (IPA) and the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA).
