PROTECTION

Bloodborne Pathogens

Workers in many different occupations are at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV/AIDS. First aid team members, police officers, security staff, lifeguards, nurses and other healthcare providers are examples of workers who may be at risk of exposure. The bloodborne pathogens course from JPC teaches you how to recognize a potential threat and respond in a manner to minimize the chance for exposure. This critical two (2) hour course from JPC results in issuance of a Bloodborne Pathogens certification card from the American Health and Safety Institute.
